After nearly 20 years working with a diverse group of clients, Dr. Yene Assegid still brings the same passion and enthusiasm she had when she first entered the field of training and coaching. Yene has dedicated herself to supporting others as they realize their full potential in both their private and professional lives.
She has worked in the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia. Her better known clients include UN agencies such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UNAIDS; governmental agencies such as German International Cooperation (GIZ, former GTZ); non-governmental organizations such as Medecins Sans Frontieres (MFS), CORDAID, and PACT, as well as private sector companies.
Yene has close to twenty years of professional training, coaching and consulting experience in the field of Transformation and Change, Leadership Development, and Management. She brings a depth of understanding and practice in Organisational Development covering the following thematic areas: Team Building, Cross Cultural Corporate Communication, Formulation of Actionable Vision, Strategic Corporate Positioning, and Executive Coaching, as well as in Conflict Prevention and Resolution. She is a seasoned trainer, designing and delivering seminars on cross-culture communication, leading global teams and interpersonal relationship competence development. She works with various psychometric leadeship tools/theories and assessments such as MBTI™ , STRONG™, Belbin Team Roles, LEA360™, Integral Theory Models and Spiral Dynamics. Yene is known to inspire her clients to overcome past setbacks or self-imposed limits. She has extensive experience in training programme design and also trains fellow coaches. She trains and coaches in English and French.
