Growthcap’s key aim is creating a positive impact for our planet, by offering training, strategic and management advice in ESG investment, to connect climate finance with green solutions for change makers, impact investors and entrepreneurs.

We work with clients to help realise projects that align with our values:

STRATEGY – Positive change for people and our planet

PLANET – Eco-creativity, Biodiversity, Sustainability

PRODUCT – Traceability, Responsibility, Circularity

PEOPLE – Dignity, Diversity, Community.

We strongly believe that only by working together can we solve global problems. Therefore we champion the work of Glasgow’s 2021 COP26 summit, where nations have been gathered together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, thus uniting the world to tackle the climate crisis.

COP26’s four key goals can be summarised as follows:

  1. Securing global net zero by 2050 and keeping 1.5 degrees within reach – by investing in and switching to renewable energy and halting deforestation.

  2. Adapting to protect communities and natural habitats – particularly preserving land and forests in indigenous communities where people are most affected by climate change.

  3. Mobilising climate finance – both in the private and public sector.

  4. Working together to deliver – uniting governments, businesses and civil society in combating global warming.

With COP26’s four goals embedded as part of Growthcap’s core focus, our advisers work with business and social entrepreneurs to develop projects and strategies for raising funds that have a direct impact on tackling climate change.

THE IPCC CLIMATE REPORT 2022

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has released its latest climate report ‘Climate change: a threat to human wellbeing and health of the planet.’

Taking action now can secure our future. Human-induced climate change is causing dangerous and widespread disruption in nature and affecting the lives of billions of people around the world, despite efforts to reduce the risks. People and ecosystems least able to cope are being hardest hit, said scientists in the latest report.
